Volunteer for a Chance to Win Southwest Airlines Tickets!
If you haven’t heard, I have recently signed up for the 40 For 40 campaign with the Volunteer Center of North Texas (VCNT).
VCNT is celebrating 40 years of community impact by challenging the community to pledge 40 hours of service between April 1, 2011 and February 28, 2012, or donate $40 to help the organization continue impacting the lives of individuals, youth, families and corporations as they connect them to the nonprofits that need their assistance!
The goal of the campaign is to reach 100,000 hours in service to the community and to raise $100,000 in donations, and VCNT needs our help!
Visit www.vcnt.org/40for40 to pledge 40 hours of service or donate $40 to help the Volunteer Center of North Texas continue transforming communities and strengthening nonprofits through volunteerism and receive a free “I Am A Volunteer” t-shirt. (I got mine and it's cool!)
Also, by joining the campaign, you will be entered into a drawing to win two round-trip tickets courtesy of Southwest Airlines and VCNT. But you need to act fast! The drawing ends July 15th.The winner will be announced on July 20th.
